FREE TOOL · AI CRAWLER VIEW
See your site as ChatGPT sees it
ChatGPT's crawler doesn't run JavaScript. Put in your address and see the page it actually gets, next to the one your customers see.
WHAT IT CHECKS
The gates in front of an AI answer
- The page itself
- The text in the HTML your server sends, before any JavaScript runs. That's all GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot read.
- robots.txt
- Whether each AI crawler is allowed in, or shut out by name or by a blanket rule.
- Your firewall
- Whether a request identifying as GPTBot gets the same page a browser does. Some hosts block AI crawlers by default.
- llms.txt, sitemap, schema
- The files and markup that hand AI tools your facts and map your pages.
QUESTIONS
Blank to ChatGPT?
GEO Launch fixes it in 48 hours, then tracks what ChatGPT says about you for 90 days.
Most likely because your pages are built in the browser with JavaScript. ChatGPT's crawlers (GPTBot and OAI-SearchBot) read the HTML your server sends and don't run scripts. If that HTML is an empty shell, which is how many Lovable, Bolt and Vite sites ship, the crawler gets a blank page. The other common causes are a robots.txt that blocks AI crawlers and a firewall setting, such as Cloudflare's AI bot blocking, that turns them away.
A plain text file at yoursite.com/llms.txt that tells AI tools, in a few paragraphs, what your business does, who it serves, what it costs and which pages matter. It's a proposed standard rather than an official one, but it's a cheap, clear way to hand AI tools the facts about you.
Serve your pages as real HTML. That means server rendering or prerendering: a framework like Next.js or Astro does it by default, and many app builders can export or prerender. Then allow the AI crawlers in robots.txt, check your firewall, add an llms.txt and submit your sitemap to Google and Bing. That's the first 48 hours of GEO Launch, if you'd rather we did it.
No. The website audit scores the whole site, from speed to conversion. This tool does one thing: it shows you the page an AI crawler actually receives, and the gates in front of it.
No. The check runs when you ask for it and nothing is saved.
